This story was written in May of 1989. The paper is stamped rough draft and possibly underwent some edits before the final paper was turned in. I thought it was a cute little story that emulates the logic of a child. It comes complete with the illustration I drew for it.
Why the Elephant has Wrinkles

©1989A long time ago in Africa an elphant was found, it got scared and scrunched up. An African girl brought home and fed it like a mother by giving it milk to drink. It was still scrunched up and wouldn’t unscrunch. One day when it was older it unscrunched and was full of wrinkles. That is why the elephant has wrinkles.
Does anyone have a better reason why the elephant has wrinkles?
