I had my daughter select a writing prompt for me. The prompt was "write a haiku about nature." I've chosen to release this haiku today to honor a beautiful culture on Japanese Culture Day.

It's November again, and that can only mean one thing. It's time for NaNoWriMo! "National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing." You spend the entire month of November working on a new novel. I finished a novel in 2011.
