Fiction That Challenges, Stories That Linger

Tiffany Higgins writes from the quiet places most people avoid—the moments where truth presses in, where memory and imagination collide, and where the smallest choices change everything. Her work moves between unsettling mysteries, raw emotional reflections, and warm stories for children and families, but the center never shifts: every story begins with honesty and ends with resonance.

She writes toward the things people carry, the things they hide, and the things they survive. Whether she’s exploring fear, forgiveness, or the fragile threads that hold relationships together, her focus is always the same: to tell stories that stay with you long after the last page.

Tiffany is the author of eight books across adult and children’s fiction, including Child Eater, Love Sick, What Happened to the Oranges?, and Once a Year. Her catalog spans age lanes, but her voice remains constant—truthful, grounded, and unafraid of the dark or the tender.

She is also the founder of Shldbwriting Publishing Company, an independent imprint built on the same principles that guide her writing: clarity, integrity, and the refusal to perform. The imprint exists to publish work that resonates, not work that conforms.

Tiffany lives and writes in Michigan, where she continues to build a catalog shaped by truth, curiosity, and the quiet courage of everyday life.
